Rev Sam Ore, younger brother of late Bishop Sola Ore , who is being laid to rest today has narrated how Bishop Ore appeared to him in a night vision a day to his passing on to glory.
Until his death, Bishop Ore was the chairman of Lagos chapter of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. He died at age 66 on October 26.
But his younger brother who is also a Pastor based in the US said the late Bishop appeared to him in a night vision and told him he would be embarking on a trip.
Sam Ore who wrote a tribute in his honour said he was taken aback when he saw him in the vision and asked why he was coming to tell him about the trip.
Quoting Bishop Sola Ore, Rev Sam Ore wrote, “On October 25, a day before your passing to eternity with Christ’, you came to me in a night vision to bid me farewell. You said, ‘I am taking a trip and I want you to know about it.’
‘I asked you, you have taken many trips, why is this one so important that you came to inform me. You responded with a glorious beautiful smile and I woke up’
The following morning Sam Ore got a call that Bishop had passed on noting that he has indeed taken a supernatural trip ‘a transition to the presence of Jesus:
Sam Ore described his elder brother in glowing terms recalling that he gave hope to the downtrodden and unrecognised grassroots ministers of the gospel.
He wrote further, ‘for you, joy, peace and love for others are your definition of wealth and success in life. You have very strategic platforms you could take advantage of to enrich yourself but the ancient scripture of godliness with contentment is great gain, remained your umpire till death.’
The burial ceremony of Bishop Ore is ongoing at The Apostolic Church’ LAWNA Territorial Headquarters, Ketu Lagos.
