General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye has assured that God can make all His children unique declaring that he turned out to be the first to have an MSc, PhD in Mathematics and three post graduate degrees of the University of Lagos.
Until he became a full time pastor of the RCCG, Adeboye was a lecturer at the department of Mathematics of the University of Lagos. His aspiration was to be the youngest Vice Chancellor in Africa. But when the Lord called him to full time ministry, he abandoned his ambition to obey God.
Adeboye in a message posted on his Facebook page on February 3 with the name: Pastor E.A. Adeboye said in the message that he generally does not like to boast.
He said, “forgive me. I’m not used to boasting I don’t want to boast. But I want to say you are standing before a unique person. I am the first to have MSc Mathematics of the University of Lagos, I am the first to have PhD Mathematics of the University of Lagos. I am the first to have three post graduate degrees of the University of Lagos. I worked for two, they gave me one. If you think that is boasting na you sabi, but what I am telling you is that God can make you uniquely outstanding.”
