Femi Fani-Kayode on Kamala: I was being led to say what I said about her

Former Minister of Aviation. Chief Femi Fani Kayode has said he was led by the Spirit to label Kamala Devi Harris, Vice President-elect of the just concluded United States election.

Fani-Kayode made this known in a live online interview with Punch Newspaper monitored by Church Times

He insisted that he had a right to express his views about the US Vice President-elect.

It would be recalled that Fani-Kayode in a widely published tweet said ‘‘I know Jezebel when I see her. Look into Kamala’s eyes. Kaballa + Kundalini= Kamala. Biden is a puppet and a smokescreen. A Biden presidency is a Kamalla Presidency. A Kamalla Presidency is satan’s Presidency. May God deliver,’’

Many had criticised him for using such derogatory terms to address Kamala, but an unrepentant Fani Kayode said he was being led to say what he said about the politician based on facts he has about her.

Still referring to Kamala in the online interview, he said, “I believe in judging personality based on their character. She was responsible for the jailing of so many black people in California. She was well known for that. I saw footage of her marching with a group of people called Satanists. I saw her marching with them. There are videos where Satanists say they are against Trump and that they are supporting Biden and Kamala.”

While insisting that he had a right to his views he wondered why people were outraged by his comments noting that worse things were said about Trump by people on social media and nobody stopped them.

“I don’t complain when you say the most hideous things about Trump and call him all kinds of names. But when we say one or two things about Kamala hell is let loose. I wrote an essay on Barrack Obama years ago and the whole of this country was against me. But what I wrote turned out to be so years after Obama became US president. I am led by the spirit when I say what I say. You are free to attack me, but don’t tell me I have no right to talk.”

He said “people say all kinds of reprehensible things about former President Goodluck Jonathan, nobody reacted. But when we say things about the present government, they say we should not be talking like that. I am not flippant with my words. I am led by the spirit to say what I said about Kamala. My views on Kamala are clear, fixed and that is how I see it.”

Still on his tweet about Kamala, he explained that the word Kaballa used in the tweet means ancient Jewish sorcery while Kundalini means new-age sorcery

He declared that he had a right “to label anybody in a way that I see. Go on social media and read what has been said about Trump. Why don’t they show the same level of outrage when people rain curses and abuses on Trump? They have said the most hideous things about Trump. When you say one thing about Kamala people are outraged.”

The ex-minister maintained his position on the US election saying though he is not a US citizen, it was just sensible to wait for the electoral college to declare the results of the election.

He noted that some nations of the world including China and Russia have refused to congratulate the winner pending the time the court processes would have been followed through.

He said, “That I disagree with Obasanjo and co for congratulating Joe Biden does not mean I don’t have respect for them. I have a right to speak. It is important as a leader to chart your cause.

“I expressed my disappointment because it is not proper to congratulate Biden when the process has not been concluded. China has refused to recognise Biden. Russia has refused to acknowledge the result. Many of those who congratulated Biden are those who never liked Trump. Nobody has the right to declare Biden as the winner of the US election apart from the Electoral College.”

He took a swipe at Biden and Obama declaring that the duo were the ones who played significant roles in bringing President Mohammadu Buhari to power and abetting terrorism during the Jonathan era. “They played a significant role in bringing Buhari to power. I cannot forgive that. Do your research. Obama refused to sell arms to us and they did all manner of things to frustrate the Jonathan government.

“Obama and Biden seem to have a penchant for rigging. One of the things Obama insisted on when he was US president was that we must have same-sex marriage. I am against the Democratic Party in terms of their philosophy.”

While expressing hope that Trump will still come out victorious, he said, “If the election goes to Biden eventually, I wish them the best and would congratulate them. But the court process must be followed through”
