Chairman of Ogun State Success Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Prophet Abiodun Owoborode has said the second phase of the EndSARS protest is coming while also stating that the blood of those who died during the Lekki shooting will fight even if the perpetrators are not brought to book.

Owoborode was reacting to the discrepancies in the reports on the shooting in a recent chat with Church Times.

He pleaded with all concerned to be calm as the blood of the victims will continue to fight and give the perpetrators a sleepless night.

The cleric also implored the government to yield to the demands of the youth noting that the second phase of the protest may spell doom for the country.

“The protest is not negative; it is for the good of the country. I condemn the Lekki Toll Gate killings in its entirety. It is absolutely wrong. It was a peaceful protest and we all knew the young ones were harmless fighting for their right. It is a civil issue so the government should not have invited soldiers. Anyone that agrees on that evil act has murdered sleep and they shall sleep no more. They will definitely pay for it.

Quoting scriptures, he said whatever a man sows, he shall reap adding, “I support the EndSARS protest and I want all Christians to support it as well.  It is out of this EndSARS protest we can restructure the country and experience devolution of power.

“I appeal to the government to meet up with the demands of the youth before it gets out of hand. The second phase of the protest is looming if the government cannot look into it now. We have had enough of bad governance; everyone that comes on board do what they think is good for them.

“The masses are suffering; the youth are suffering, if this will bring back the glory of God to this country why won’t I support it? It is better the government understand the motive behind this protest and respond accordingly because the next time the protest resurfaces it may spell doom for the country.” He cautioned.
