Christ, speaking directly in John 6:35 said, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst”. It is for this purpose Christians, who are followers of Christ, must endeavor to live a life that nourishes others. Nourishing in this context covers all aspects of human life – spirit, soul, and body.

At Dominion Harvest International Church, feeding the poor is an ongoing endeavour. The church also does not lag behind in  “Nourishing souls with the enriching Word of God”

The Calling, the Church, and the Ministry

“He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame” (Proverbs.10:5). This has been a guiding principle for Pastor Abiodun Oso for years now, as he has been dedicated to the end-time harvest of the Kingdom from his undergraduate days at the University of Lagos where he was privileged to serve as the village Evangelism Secretary of Lagos Varsity Christian Union and later as the Evangelism Secretary (Rural Rugged) of  Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF, Lagos Chapter).

Though some of those who started the journey of the Christian service ended the race as soon as they started, Oso went on to found Missions Group International (now known as Kingdom Outreach International Ministry), a platform for the continuity of the assignment of soul-winning.

With missions in different villages and an annual Evangelism Conference to equip young people for the end-time harvest, Kingdom Outreach International Ministry has reached thousands of lives across Lagos, Ogun state, and environs.

Dominion Harvest International Church had her first service on the 29th of May 2016 and the Ministry has taken on another dimension since then. A Church with the vision of “Building harvesters through discipleship, mentorship, and empowerment via the Word” and mission of “Raising Kingdom Harvesters”.

Within a short time, the church through her training arm, Dominion Academy has reached thousands of people through her monthly skill acquisition programs that created a means of survival and sustenance for several young people.

On queue to be fed

Dominion Harvest International Church is one of the fastest-growing churches in Lagos with an anointing for gathering people and converting them into disciples of Christ who go into the harvest field to reach other souls for the kingdom.

With all of the human engagements created to bring men unto the place of consistent discovery and development for kingdom Exploits, the church has also taken steps further in sharing the Love of the father unto the physically needy. This is what informed the latest initiative of the ministry tagged “Food Bank”. Through this platform, many lives have been touched, with weekly feeding and gifting outreach ending in immeasurable joy for all.

The free feeding program of the Church began during the Covid-19 lockdown, a time when many people found it difficult to feed themselves and their families. The church made food available to everyone that comes around to the church located at 76, Ikorodu Road beside Fidelity Bank, Fadeyi, Lagos. A minimum of 200 people get free food every Saturday morning.

According to Pst. Abiodun Oso, the Senior Pastor of Dominion Harvest, the desire of the Church and Ministry is to be a blessing unto men while expanding God’s kingdom on Earth.

“This we hope to accomplish by using every means God makes available unto us in creating life-links, serving as a bridge upon which the most ordinary men can cross over to the side of extraordinary Sons and Daughters of the kingdom. If there is any good time for anyone to join this glorious train, it is none other than now.”
