He however added that he would keep praying for mockers who do not believe his message.

He assured his listeners that no evil will come upon anyone of them as long as they remain in the Lord and serve him diligently. He said those who will die as a result of the virus who are believers will be those whose time had come.

Adeboye said further that as soon as God has proved himself to humanity that the problem would be over.

The RCCG general overseer who preached on the topic, peace be still said if Jesus is in our boat we can be rest assured that the crises we face will not overwhelm us.

Responding to those who mocked him considering the death of some priests and bishops as a result of the virus which negates his position last week, he said, “The fact that somebody is a bishop or a priest does not mean that person knows God.”

He said in the land of Goshen the people of Israel did not experience the plague that came upon the Egyptians. “They were insulated against all forms of calamities. And that is how it is going to be in this period of pandemic.

Bakare stated further “Where you live in this season matters. If you are in the land of Goshen you are covered. What will matter in this season is the power of God and not the power of Illuminati.”

He warned his listeners not to listen to those who tell them about digital currency praying that God will keep all those who trust in him from evil. “the prayers of Jesus for his disciples in John 17v15  that I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one is apt in this season.”

In his message the Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Rev Sam Adeyemi submits that the success of man on earth is determined by God, the creator of man.

He said that at the end of age, what will determine our success will be how we treated people not our titles and position.

He stated that humanity is an extension of God adding that what God does not deserve we should not give it to our fellow human.

He preached extensively on Love urging his listeners to show love to their neighbours in this season of anomie. “This is a good time to show love. You can’t love and fail because love does not fail. What is going on around the world is challenging our capacity to love. We need to review how we practice our faith. People are empowered when we show love. If you see a nation with a good healthcare system it shows love is being practiced in that nation.”
