US-based Nigerian pastor sets up online Bible school

A Nigerian pastor based in Texas, US, Courage Igene, has established an online ministry training school called “Joshua Generation School Of Ministry”(JGM), where Christians, Organizations and Churches can be equipped for the work of the ministry

Igene in a statement made available to Church Times said the school was designed in a way that would make it easier for everyone all over the world to participate adding also that there are over 60 courses to be taken in a two-year period.

The school session according to the statement starts between March and June, then September and December.

The statement reads in part, “It’s a school for Missionaries and church planters where they come to be trained on how to grow their ministry while sitting in the comfort of their houses

Some of the courses to be taken at the online school are grouped under, Church, Administration, Spiritual, Ethics, Practical and Theology.

Some other courses include; The Ministry of the Minister, Keys of an Effective Minister, Biblical Doctrines, Homiletics, Hermeneutics and Exegesis. Some other courses are The Pulpit Ministry, Dos and Don’ts of the Pulpit Ministry, Understanding Ministry Gifts, Callings, the five-Fold Ministry and a host of others.

A bonus course titled, The Minister’s Health will be handled by Dr. Tanya Mays Jeune and Dr. Vivian Godwin.

Already arrangements are ongoing for the September session of the course.

Participants in the two-year training programme during which Igene will be the primary instructor for all the classes will formally hold a graduation ceremony in Texas, US.
